grateful monday

i am grateful that it’s goin’ back up to the 80’s for a couple of days so, i don’t have to break down and test the furnace. it’s not that i don’t want to know. i just don’t wanna know, you know? i am grateful for high beams. this way when it gets dark i can see the raccoons on the side of the road in time to prepare for the game of chicken they are about to win. i am grateful for the mix of summer sale stuff and halloween stuff in the stores right now. i am grateful for the upcoming winter holidays, because after halloween what other reason is there to get out of bed until spring?

    Umm…..*tap tap tap* Preparing for hosting Thanksgiving might serve to getcha outta bed?

    I’m grateful for high beams on the car. Mostly cuz one of my headlights went out and the high beam saves me from being a padiddle! ;-)
