Honey Chain

i like the word wednesday because it’s spelled different from the way it’s pronounced.

i love to sew, but i almost never do it.

sometimes, when i’m stuck standing in line someplace, i try to make annoying people spontaneously combust with my mind.

the only sports i’m inclined to follow are hockey and bull riding. this surprises most people.

when watching bull riding, i always cheer for the bull.

i’m a fan of horror movies. i’m a screamer though, so, i usually have to watch them by myself.

yes it’s tuesday and i’m still grateful. why? because i love tea and now, i finally have a song to sing about it.

now, when i say earl grey you say yes please.

waahhh! i just looked out my window and saw snow falling from the sky.

i am grateful that the snow is melting as soon as it hits the ground.

is it spring or not?

i was watching the news and the weatherperson said there was a chance we could get a little snow this evening. what the hell?!

in other, more exciting, news; i decided to clean up the linen closet. now most of the linen closet is tidy, but i have a new mess in the hall and the bedroom closet. i really need to learn how to clean without making more messes.

i love music from other countries. i don’t care that i don’t know what they’re saying. not knowing the words doesn’t seem to stop me singing along, as my neighbors can attest.

i thought maybe i’d share with you some of my favorites: marta sebestyen, mari boine, zap mama, les nubiens, ofra haza, and shonen knife who’s version of “top of the world” is one of my favorite covers.

remember, way back, when earth day was less about lecturing everyone else on how to live their lives and more about taking a moment to have some reverence for the earth?

i am grateful for…violets…strawberries…cranberry mixed with just about any berry juice…snoopy band-aids…and i am grateful that all of the misguided and horrifying html disasters so far have been completely and totally reversible. go me!
